How It Works
HydraFacial is a comprehensive treatment that transforms your skin through a meticulous three-phase process:
Cleansing and Deep Exfoliation:
An adept dermatologist or licensed aesthetician at Sthetics Med Spa utilizes a specialized wand resembling a vortex. This wand clears away oil and dirt deeply nestled in your pores, while a gentle peel exfoliates and resurfaces the skin.
Pore Debris Extraction:
A vacuum-like attachment on the wand is employed to skillfully extract debris from your pores, enhancing skin clarity and purity.
Youthful Glow Infusion:
A pen-like device administers a moisturizing serum loaded with potent antioxidants, elevating your skin’s radiance and youthful vibrancy.
HydraFacials may be complemented by additional skincare treatments, such as light therapy or dermal fillers, tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each client. This multi-faceted approach ensures the best possible results for your skin.

F.A.Q
- Before Care
6 months before HydroFacial, it is recommended to avoid Isotretinoin products.
Two weeks before the treatment, do not use medium/deep chemical peels or laser or any chemical resurfacing treatments. It would also be best to stop using Botox.
Then, for at least 48 hours before HydraFacial, avoid using over-the-counter acne medications like salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide as well as topical Retin-A or generic tretinoin on the face. Do not use exfoliating treatments and do not wax or shave.
- After Care
Please do not use exfoliating treatments or medications, such as glycolic acid, enzymes, benzoyl peroxide, and salicylic acid for at least 48 hours after the HydraFacial treatment. Avoid intense exposure to heat for at least 24 hours after HydraFacial.
Everyone can enjoy the benefits of HydraFacial. However, it is still best to consult your licensed dermatologist or clinician for sound medical advice.
The skin may look glowy and dewy after a HydraFacial, but the treatment is not a one-time quick fix. You need to repeat the treatment to help the skin improve its appearance in the long run. It is best to get HydraFacial every four to six weeks.
Rest assured that HydraFacial is comfortable and not painful. However, one may experience a slight pinkness to their skin for the first 24 hours. HydraFacial offers no downtime at all.
